3-Year Date of Purchase LCD, LCoS, D-ILA or DLP Lamp Protection

This Plan will furnish a replacement lamp for the LCD, LCoS, D-ILA or DLP lamp that has failed and would normally be covered by the original manufacturer s written warranty, unless otherwise stated in the Exclusions from Coverage section of this document.

Coverage under this Plan shall commence immediately upon the expiration of the manufacturer s original parts warranty for the covered LCD, LCoS, D-ILA or DLP lamp. Should the LCD, LCoS, D-ILA or DLP lamp fail during the Plan coverage, and subject to the terms of this contract, the Administrator shall arrange for the replacement of the covered lamp. The LCD, LCoS, D-ILA or DLP Lamp Protection Plan only applies to the lamp. This Plan will not be responsible for any other parts that should fail or trip, labor or shipping. This plan will cover up to two (2) replacement lamps during the term of this Plan.

This Plan must be purchased at the same time and on the same sales receipt as the covered LCD, LCoS, D-ILA or DLP product. Proof of purchase may be required at the time of service. The Administrator reserves the right to refund the full Plan price, canceling the contract, if false or exaggerated claims are filed.

If you call for service and the problem found is not a result of the failure of the LCD, LCoS, D-ILA or DLP Lamp, you alone shall be responsible to pay any fees due to the Servicer. For lamp replacement call toll-free 1-800-342-5349.

Customers having questions regarding the receipt of services under this Plan should call the Administrator at 1-800-342-5349. This document sets forth the entire Plan and may not be modified except by the Administrator. As the Administrator, WCPS will assist you in understanding your warranty and Plan benefits from the day you purchase your Plan. Coverage only applies to products used noncommercially.

You may be required to ship or deliver the defective lamp prior to receiving a replacement lamp.

Lamp Usage and Maintenance Guidelines

To ensure continued, uninterrupted enjoyment of your new Television, it is important to follow these guidelines.

To avoid interrupting the power line to the television unit, do not cut off main power supplies to the television. Plug the television into a Wall AC Socket. Do not use the AC Socket on your Satellite or Cable box. Do not use a Wall outlet that can be turned off with a switch. The cooling fan for the Lamp runs for a period of time after you turn the set off with the Remote or Power button. Once the fan has stopped running, you may remove power from the unit if necessary. Removing power from an operating set may shorten the life of your Lamp, or it may cause damage not covered by this Plan.

Clean or replace the Filter annually or whenever you replace the Lamp See the Manufacturer s cleaning instructions in your owner s manual.

When replacing the Lamp, be sure to use the exact Manufacturer recommended replacement part.
Failure to do so may cause damage to your Television not covered by this Plan. See your Owners Manual for Lamp Replacement Information.

Most Televisions require that you reset a Timer when the Lamp is replaced. Resetting the timer without replacing the Lamp may cause damage to your Television not covered by this Plan.

What exactly is an Extended Service Plan?
An extended service plan is generally an extension of your original manufacturer's warranty. Most manufacturers warranty their products to be free from defects for up to one year from the date of purchase. This warranty virtually guarantees you that if your newly purchased product fails, the manufacturer will protect you from the high costs of replacement parts and labor necessary to repair your product. Extended service plans lengthen your product's coverage for up to an additional 60 months (5 years) to insure you get years of performance satisfaction from your newly purchased product.

How is this different than the manufacturer's warranty?
A manufacturer's warranty usually offers limited coverage for a limited time, with parts and labor carrying separate lengths of coverage. Yes, service plans are renewable and must be submitted 30 days prior to the original plans expiration. Please contact a sales representative to discuss your renewal options.

Our extended service providers offer an easy to use interactive form online which you may use to request that they initiate a claim on your product. Your other alternative is to call the toll-free number on your extended warranty card or email and have a qualified representative make this request for you with the information you will provide. Who will perform the service on my product?

Authorized technicians must complete annual and bi-annual continued education exams in addition to being well versed in manufacturer supplied update bulletins to ensure their level of expertise is as current as the new products which come to market. May I transfer my extended service plan to another person?
Our service plans are 100% transferable. If you would like transfer ownership of the covered product along with its coverage, we require that the request be supplied in writing. For assistance please contact a Representative. Please have all of the new owner's information at hand when requesting a transfer.

Will I have to pay a deductible or any other "hidden costs"?
Generally, the amount of a deductible is almost always proportional to the amount of the premium charged. In order to have a lower deductible, even as low as $0, the plan holder would generally have to agree to a higher premium. For those who want lower premiums, they must agree to a higher deductible. Our extended service plans carry a $0.00 deductible along with low premiums. This means that with an extended service plan there are no high upfront costs and they are committed to cover 100% parts and labor costs on any authorized claim.
