The PLV-HD100 utilizes three true high definition resolution (1920 x 1080) LCD panels to reproduce high definition sources as they were meant to be seen; The projector provides 24P capability for film playback as well as 60P capability for computer graphics (60P: only through DVI input)

1000:1 Contrast Ratio

High-contrast optical system, utilizing micro lens technology, the PLV-HD100 is able to achieve a contrast ratio of 1000:1; A micro lens is integrated into each individual pixel on the three LCD panels increasing light efficiency, resulting in significantly brighter images

Superior Color Reproduction

6500 K color temperature optical system and HDTV image performance through a 12-bit Progressive Scan integrated circuit provides 30-bit color processing (10bit each for R/G/B), 2-3 pull-down and 1080i to progressive conversion

Efficient Lamp Management System

Monitors the status of each lamp and can display status and cumulative hours of use on-screen; When full brightness is not required, two of the lamps may be switched off; Also, if a lamp expires while either four or two lamps are in use, the fail-safe operation feature switches to the matched pair of good lamps

What exactly is an Extended Service Plan?
An extended service plan is generally an extension of your original manufacturer's warranty. Most manufacturers warranty their products to be free from defects for up to one year from the date of purchase. Your other alternative is to call the toll-free number on your extended warranty card or email and have a qualified representative make this request for you with the information you will provide.
