Its EX 5 RT 9U (LV) is a high-performance UPS designed for harsh environment. Its double conversion, On Line UPS technology can ride through long lasting brownout conditions without draining the batteries. EX 5 RT is packed with high-availability features like hot-swappable power and battery modules. This versatile solution is made of a UPS module (3U), a battery module (3U) and a stepdown transformer (3U) and only uses 9U height in a rack enclosure. It can also be used as a tower, and its backlighted LCD display can be read even in dark areas. Its network manageability is outstanding, while the bundled software suite provides a vast array of power management capabilities, like the ability to perform shutdown in a virtualization environment.
