Cerwin-Vega V12S Reviews & Ratings

Slngsht's Cerwin-Vega V12S Review from Roanoke: - February 20, 2008
I've owned this sub since about 2004, and it's been one of the best additions to my home theater setup. Be forewarned though, you must have a good receiver to use this, as if it has poor LFE outputs that arent shielded or grounded correctly, you may get interferance going through the sub. I picked up an AM radio station that played nothing but gospel music. LOL. I isolated it to an old 5.1 receiver that I had, and replaced it with an Onkyo receiver. Fixed the problem. I have to say, there are many many ways you can hook this guy up. If you don't have LFE output, you can run the speaker cables directly to it and back out to your speakers and it will absorb the bass output from the receivers and reproduce it itself and take that burden off of your main speakers quite nicely.
