DTE Technology for the Studio
FireStore FS-2 is designed to bring DTE Technology into the studio. With a rackmount chassis, extensive analog and digital audio/video support and industry standard control capabilities, the FireStore FS-2 digital disk recorder is ideal as a tape deck replacement in broadcast, post, security, medical or presentation applications.
A Variety of Input/Outputs and Transcoder Capabilities
To seemlessly integrate into any facility, FireStore FS-2 has the full complement of A/V inputs and outputs. Analog I/O includes composite, S-video, component and balanced audio. Digital I/O includes serial digital (SD-SDI), 25Mb/s DV (FireWire/iLink) and AES/EBU digital audio. Additionally, FireStore FS-2 includes a reference video loop through, audio and video monitor ports and external timecode I/O. Input sources are recorded to disk in DTE Technology based DV25 file formats. FS-2 is also an ideal signal transcoder will all outputs live during a recording or when in E-E mode.
Extensive Recording Capabilities
FireStore FS-2 features flexible record options including loop record, retro cache record (retro records up to 10 seconds prior to a record trigger), retro disk record (retro records up to the entire available disk space prior to a record trigger) and user definable time-lapse recording - all using DTE Technology native DV25 NLE file formats. Clips can also be categorized into user definable folders during recording allowing for easy access during playback or editing.
