The versatile Casio Green Slim XJ-A145V DLP XGA Projector resists categorization. Every time you think you've nailed it down, up pops another capability in a completely different scenario.

Description:

Let's start with the basics. With 2,500 lumens of brightness and a 1,800:1 contrast ratio it can project a brilliant image just about anywhere. No matter what you use it for, you're going to love the crisp, vivid, saturated images its Texas Instruments DLP DMD imaging chip creates.

They're illuminated by Casio's revolutionary mercury-free light source. It uses a hybrid laser-LED technology in which Casio is so confident they warranty it for three years or 6,000 hours of use, but it routinely lasts 20,000 hours. In an industry where 90 day lamp warranties are the norm, that's amazing.

It can also do 720p, 1080i and 1080p high definition and it has HDMI, component and RGB inputs. That's means it would make a great home theater projector. And its color, brightness and compatibility with every gaming console on the market underscores its abilities as a great gaming machine. No TV can match the thrill of playing on a screen that can be up to five feet across, measured diagonally.

Take a closer look at the specs. It can project in the NTSC, PAL and SECAM video standards, it's got a multi-language OSD (on-screen display) and it's got a power supply that can handle from 100 to 240V. It also comes with its own case and weighs just five pounds. With international credentials like that this projector is a corporate road warrior's dream.

Your XJ-A145V USB port comes in handy no matter what kind of user you are. If you make presentations on the go, you can leave your laptop behind and carry your show on a USB flash drive (available separately). Or, if you want to access PCs wirelessly on your home or business network, you can. Casio includes their YW-3 Wi-Fi adapter.

So you'll have to make up your own mind. Is it an educational, home theater or business projector No matter what kind of projector you're looking for, the Casio XJ-A145V will do an outstanding job for you.

Features:

2,500 Lumens and an 1,800:1 Contrast Ratio
That's plenty of projection power for presentations in a large classroom, lecture hall or meeting room or watching a DVD or Blu-ray disc in your media room, even with a fair amount of ambient light.

Casio Hybrid Light Source Saves You Money and Helps the Environment
The XJ-A145V is not only mercury free, it's lamp free. The projector's Hybrid Light Source combines laser and LED technology for amazing high brightness and it can last up to 20,000 hours - 10x the life of a standard Casio mercury lamp. It also features Quick On which fires up the projector in 8 seconds, as well as Instant Off to eliminate cool-down time.

Superior Color and Consistent Brightness
While the performance of conventional projector mercury lamps falls off visibly with increasing age, your XJ-A145V maintains consistent brightness and superior color.

2x Zoom Offers True Flexibility in Projector Placement
With your XJ-A145V you'll never have to worry about moving the projector back and forth to get the right presentation size. Whether you're in a small office or a large boardroom the 2x power zoom lens gives you the flexibility to easily position the projector.

Go PC-free via USB
Why take a PC when you can quickly convert your presentation and project it directly from your USB enabled XJ-A145V. Talk about traveling light! All USB enabled Green Slim projectors ship with Casio's EZ Converter FA software that can transform any PowerPoint presentation in seconds.

Wireless LAN Support
You'll never have to fumble around with wires again. Using the included wireless 802.11 b/g/n LAN adapter and Casio-supplied software you can connect your XJ-A145V wirelessly with up to four laptops simultaneously.

HDMI
A built-in HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) input provides a direct digital input and allows connectivity with many widescreen notebooks now shipping with HDMI outputs. Compatible with HD Video formats, HD Video sources including Blu-Ray players, cable converter boxes and gaming systems can be connected to the Green Slim projector.

What exactly is an Extended Service Plan?
An extended service plan is generally an extension of your original manufacturer's warranty. Most manufacturers warranty their products to be free from defects for up to one year from the date of purchase. This warranty virtually guarantees you that if your newly purchased product fails, the manufacturer will protect you from the high costs of replacement parts and labor necessary to repair your product. Extended service plans lengthen your product's coverage for up to an additional 60 months (5 years) to insure you get years of performance satisfaction from your newly purchased product.

How is this different than the manufacturer's warranty?
A manufacturer's warranty usually offers limited coverage for a limited time, with parts and labor carrying separate lengths of coverage. For example, a common manufacturer warranty of a product might cover a consumer for one full year on parts defects but only 90 days on the high cost of labor involved to change those parts. Extended service plans provide comprehensive, long term, even length coverage. This means that should your product fail within your plans coverage time frame, both parts and labor costs are covered.

How do I buy an Extended Service Plan?
Extended Service Plans can be purchased along with your product online, or via our toll free number.

Can I renew my Consumer Priority Service extended service plan?
Yes, service plans are renewable and must be submitted 30 days prior to the original plans expiration. Please contact a sales representative to discuss your renewal options.

What should I do if I need extended service?
Our extended service providers offer an easy to use interactive form online which you may use to request that they initiate a claim on your product. Your other alternative is to call the toll-free number on your extended warranty card or email and have a qualified representative make this request for you with the information you will provide. We believe that our claim initiation request process is the absolute best our industry has to offer. It is designed for simplicity and speed.

Who will perform the service on my product?
Our company works with over 11,000 authorized service professionals. Each technician is extensively trained by the respective manufacturers to provide service on your products. Authorized technicians must complete annual and bi-annual continued education exams in addition to being well versed in manufacturer supplied update bulletins to ensure their level of expertise is as current as the new products which come to market. We urge our customers to provide feedback regarding their experiences which we later use to insure that the level of service we are expected to provide is exactly the level of service you receive.

May I transfer my extended service plan to another person?
Our service plans are 100% transferable. If you would like transfer ownership of the covered product along with its coverage, we require that the request be supplied in writing. For assistance please contact a Representative. Please have all of the new owner's information at hand when requesting a transfer.

Will I have to pay a deductible or any other "hidden costs"?
Generally, the amount of a deductible is almost always proportional to the amount of the premium charged. In order to have a lower deductible, even as low as $0, the plan holder would generally have to agree to a higher premium. For those who want lower premiums, they must agree to a higher deductible. Our extended service plans carry a $0.00 deductible along with low premiums. This means that with an extended service plan there are no high upfront costs and they are committed to cover 100% parts and labor costs on any authorized claim.
