With 3200 lumens at a contrast ratio of 1000:1 the Canon REALiS WUX10 Mark II is one of the company's top of the line projectors. It improves on the already highly acclaimed LCoS (Liquid Crystal on Silicon) imaging technology with the company's own proprietary AISYS (Aspectual Illumination System). AISYS increases both brightness and contrast together. It never sacrifices one for the other. And only Canon has it.

The REALiS WUX10 Mark II accepts HDMI v 1.3a signals. These signals can contain literally billions of colors, which is far more than the human eye can perceive. What good is that It increases color accuracy and vividness and smoothes out color banding that can sometimes occur even from high definition sources. The images the REALiS WUX10 Mark II projects through its 1.5x zoom lens have to be seen to be believed.

The REALiS WUX10 Mark II makes an excellent corporate and scientific display. Its WUXGA (1920 by 1200) aspect ratio exactly matches those of many of today's wide screen notebook displays.

It's also fully controllable over a network through its RJ45 (Ethernet) jack and its compliance with SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol). One centralized PC can manage a whole fleet of projectors. And you can even have them email you when certain conditions exist, like a bulb is nearing the end of its useful life.

This is a truly international machine from its 100 to 240 V AC 50/60 Hz power supply to its support for NTSC, NTSC 4.43, PAL, PAL-N, PAL-M, and SECAM. And of course it supports high definition from 720p up to 1080p. In the classroom, lecture hall or lab the REALiS WUX10 Mark II is a projector like no other.

3200 Lumens and a 1000:1 Contrast Ratio
The REALiS WUX10 Mark II projects with 3200 Lumens, delivering incredible image quality and brightness thanks to Canon's exclusive AISYS Optical Engine's new AC lamp system. The 1000:1 contrast ratio ensures deep blacks and bright whites. Pure, high-contrast color reproduction creates images with crisp depth and dimension, ideally suited for conveying texture and materials. Colors remain sharp and vivid, with superior color balance, perfect for presentations incorporating high-quality visuals.

Native WUXGA (1920 x 1200) Resolution
To match the increasing demand for widescreen, the REALiS WUX10 Mark II allows you to display true widescreen content in high resolution WUXGA. The WUXGA resolution of the REALiS WUX10 Mark II offers a significantly larger display range than SXGA+ projectors, capable of reproducing even the smallest details with razor-sharp precision.

LCoS (Liquid Crystal on Silicon) Technology
With the REALiS WUX10 Mark II, you get all the brilliance and image sharpness of innovative LCoS technology, but in an ultra-portable projector unlike any others on the market. It's the right choice for displaying bright, big-screen images without darkening the conference room, classroom or living room. LCoS takes the REALiS WUX10 Mark II to a whole new level. This new technology means higher resolution images, seamless images with no flickering or "screen door" effect, quick image response for better looking moving images, smooth rendition of fine lines, seamless photo reproduction, sharp display of small text, and crisp blacks.

AISYS Technology
Only Canon realizes the full potential of LCoS technology by combining it with its proprietary and improved third generation AISYS Engine, its patented optical light engine for achieving brightness and high contrast using LCoS panels. AISYS has three components: the illumination system; the color separation and combination system; and the LCoS panels. Only Canon's innovative, breakthrough AISYS technology achieves the right balance of contrast, brightness and compact size to maximize the performance of LCoS. Plus, its new advanced AISYS optical engine features new optical elements, redesigned polarizing beam splitters, and a reconfigured optical layout. The result is improved light efficiency, uniformity and expanded color space.

AC Lamp System
With the AC lamp system of the REALiS WUX10 Mark II and the AISYS optical system the images you project are brighter, with truer color. The purity of red and green is enhanced over that possible with conventional DC lamps giving a more life-like depth to the colors on the screen. In addition, the new lamp system boasts an extended operating life, up to 2000 hours in normal mode and up to 3000 hours in quiet mode.

Newly Designed 1.5x Zoom Lens
The REALiS WUX10 Mark II's new 1.5x zoom lens suppresses the distortion of images to the maximum extent. Made possible by a lens design technology Canon has accumulated in the past, the new REALiS WUX10 Mark II is able to project images more faithfully. The lens also features a 10:0 lens offset, which maintains the lower edge of projected images. The lower edge of the projected image matches the optical axis of the lens. This permits projection of high-quality images without the deterioration in image quality caused by keystone correction. You can easily change the screen size to accommodate various venues and/or applications. It is now easier to set up the projector perpendicular to the screen without having to tilt the projector, or use the keystone correction.

Advanced Color Management System
Your projection screen is your canvas with the REALiS WUX10 Mark II's unparalleled color control. An easy-to-use GUI (graphical user interface) lets you adjust your palette of colors to paint the picture you want for your audience. The WUX10 Mark II's 6-axis (RGBCMY) color adjustment lets you fine-tune the hue and saturation of each of the primary and secondary colors. This high degree of control makes each projected image a masterpiece. With Memory/Vivid Color Correction, you can adjust the degree of vividness of each of the primary colors (red, green, and blue) and each of the secondary colors (cyan, magenta, and yellow). Choose between low, medium, and high to project the image the way you remember it.

Full 10 Bit Color and HDMI v 1.3 With Deep Color
The REALiS WUX10 Mark II features the ability to process analog RGB and component signals, from input to display, in 10-bit resolution for higher-quality images. This projector is also equipped with an HDMI terminal (version 1.3 deep color), supporting full HD 1080p signals provided by HDTV capable satellite and cable boxes, as well as Blu-ray players. Connect an HD capable satellite and cable boxes, digital camcorder or Blu-ray player to the HDMI terminal for instant display of high-definition video.

Network Ready RJ-45 Port
To maximize the usability of the REALiS WUX10 Mark II, the new built-in network interface (RJ-45) enables centralized control and monitoring of multiple projector units from a networked PC. This makes it simple for an A/V team to operate ceiling mounted or remotely installed projectors from a PC, allowing fewer personnel to cover a larger service area. The REALiS WUX10 Mark II is compatible with industry-standard AMX, Crestron, and Extron controllers, making it possible to construct a sophisticated AV system. In addition, email alerts can be sent to the central PC to give notification of any malfunctions or service issues which may arise in a projector. The REALiS WUX10 Mark II can also be externally operated through its RS-232 port.

Photo Mode
Ambient light can cause changes in the accuracy of the colors being projected. The REALiS WUX10 Mark II's Photo Mode allows you to make adjustments to the projector's color temperature and color level, based on the lighting condition of the room. This feature makes it possible to accurately reproduce color, and provide faithful reproduction of changes in contrast—even on a large screen inside a bright room. Images projected onto the screen are as close to the actual work as possible. Fine adjustments can also be made in accordance with various environment lights, such as incandescent lamp, fluorescent lamp, and brighter and darker room conditions. Accordingly, accurate image reproduction can be made on a large screen, with a quality similar to the image displayed on an sRGB monitor. This feature is particularly useful when displaying photography in a studio, wedding center, art museum, or a gallery. All adjusted values can be saved in Photo Mode.

What exactly is an Extended Service Plan?
An extended service plan is generally an extension of your original manufacturer's warranty. Most manufacturers warranty their products to be free from defects for up to one year from the date of purchase. This warranty virtually guarantees you that if your newly purchased product fails, the manufacturer will protect you from the high costs of replacement parts and labor necessary to repair your product. Extended service plans lengthen your product's coverage for up to an additional 60 months (5 years) to insure you get years of performance satisfaction from your newly purchased product.

How is this different than the manufacturer's warranty?
A manufacturer's warranty usually offers limited coverage for a limited time, with parts and labor carrying separate lengths of coverage. For example, a common manufacturer warranty of a product might cover a consumer for one full year on parts defects but only 90 days on the high cost of labor involved to change those parts. Extended service plans provide comprehensive, long term, even length coverage. This means that should your product fail within your plans coverage time frame, both parts and labor costs are covered.

How do I buy an Extended Service Plan?
Extended Service Plans can be purchased along with your product online, or via our toll free number.

Can I renew my Consumer Priority Service extended service plan?
Yes, service plans are renewable and must be submitted 30 days prior to the original plans expiration. Please contact a sales representative to discuss your renewal options.

What should I do if I need extended service?
Our extended service providers offer an easy to use interactive form online which you may use to request that they initiate a claim on your product. Your other alternative is to call the toll-free number on your extended warranty card or email and have a qualified representative make this request for you with the information you will provide. We believe that our claim initiation request process is the absolute best our industry has to offer. It is designed for simplicity and speed.

Who will perform the service on my product?
Our company works with over 11,000 authorized service professionals. Each technician is extensively trained by the respective manufacturers to provide service on your products. Authorized technicians must complete annual and bi-annual continued education exams in addition to being well versed in manufacturer supplied update bulletins to ensure their level of expertise is as current as the new products which come to market. We urge our customers to provide feedback regarding their experiences which we later use to insure that the level of service we are expected to provide is exactly the level of service you receive.

May I transfer my extended service plan to another person?
Our service plans are 100% transferable. If you would like transfer ownership of the covered product along with its coverage, we require that the request be supplied in writing. For assistance please contact a Representative. Please have all of the new owner's information at hand when requesting a transfer.

Will I have to pay a deductible or any other "hidden costs"?
Generally, the amount of a deductible is almost always proportional to the amount of the premium charged. In order to have a lower deductible, even as low as $0, the plan holder would generally have to agree to a higher premium. For those who want lower premiums, they must agree to a higher deductible. Our extended service plans carry a $0.00 deductible along with low premiums. This means that with an extended service plan there are no high upfront costs and they are committed to cover 100% parts and labor costs on any authorized claim.
